Game Review

                This is the game of the decade or maybe the century, there’s so much to say about this game. I love it more than any other game I played before, it’s the best and no other game can beat it. Although I only played this game on a private server, I can say that it’s very amazing. It’s expensive to play on its real server but that amount is nothing compared to the amount of fun you can experience on this game. The gameplay is second to none; it’s great and very different from other gameplays. It also includes a story line and the story of the game is never ending and exciting. Maybe blizzard should consider making a movie from this game of maybe from their story line. I couldn’t imagine how successful the movie is when blizzard decides to do one. It’s very hard to explain how great this game in just mere words because the readers can’t feel what it’s like to be playing this game by just imagining things. They should experience it first hand or personally.

                The graphics of the game is perfect, it looks so realistic. All the characters of this game was done well, even the smallest details were not forgotten. The actions of each class or characters a more... how do should I explain it... it’s like their actions are very realistic, as if their alive, as if your them. It’s like you’re in the game or should I say it’s like you are what your character is. You feel what your character is doing and the feeling of being connected with your character somehow is there. Its gives you the opportunity to live in a new world, a world where there is never ending adventure. When you play the game you experience these kinds of things. You will see things that you’ve never seen before; you meet people or creatures which are fun to watch and also creatures which are terrifying. This game includes a very large map, and all the places are different from each other. I still remember when I used to grind at Duskwood; you can feel a bit of creepiness because the place is a cemetery and the place is dark and also there are few NPC around. The sound of the game makes you more nervous because it’s perfect for that kind of place. It’s amazing how a game can make you feel that way, almost all of the places in this game give you a different feeling. As you shift to a new village a new feeling will be felt, the atmosphere makes you feel that you are really inside the game.

                There are many races to choose from, and in every race there are lots of class to choose from. For me I prefer to be with the alliance, I never created a character from the Horde because it will take you some time to memorize the map of that faction and it’s time consuming because the map is so big! I still remember when I played gnome rouge; by the way gnomes are the smallest and cutest race to play. Just imagine a small being to be rouge or assassin, just by imagining it makes me laugh. The good points of this game are the unique characteristics of each race. A human warrior has a different characteristics with and elf warrior; although they have the same class they still have some differences in terms of default attributes and race abilities. The good part in this game is you won’t bother on distributing your stats upon levelling; stats are affected only by the items you equip. There are only specific armours and items for each class. That makes this game more fun; in simple explanation some characters wear only light armours, while some wear heavy and medium weight armours. The items and weapons also are fantastic because they are unique and can be upgradable to some degree. Epic items are the best! Of course you need to be on a party or raid team to obtain an epic item. Oh I almost forgot, the raiding system of this game is the best. You can have as many party mates in raiding some instances; you need to have a raid team that includes almost each and every class. The raiding is fun because it can last for hours for you to finish just one raid. Although you have a low chance of getting a strong item, the experience is fun. You meet a lot of players because of raiding; the friendship you gain from it is worth it of your time.

                The professions offered in the game is good, a specific character can have a maximum of two professions. These professions can help you make you character stronger and richer. Each class have a profession suited for their class, it’s up for the players to choose what profession they think is best for their characters.

                The players of this game are mostly professionals and from the age of 20 to 50. That’s the good thing about this game; it’s not just people above 20 but also for the grownups. All in all, this game is the best of the best! If ever I have a job, I will play this game, I really like to play it again because it’s so addictive...

The Italian Job

For me this is a very interesting movie because it includes my dream car, a mini cooper. That’s not the only thing that caught my attention while watching the movie, I like the way or method they used on taking revenge against the one that betrayed their team. Their plan is flawless, everything goes according the plan. I like movies like this with a good storyline and twist. It also includes a very hot girl, I mean the daughter of the member who died because of betrayal of his teammate. That’s makes it more interesting, including a leading lady that is sexy makes the movie worth watching.

The scene with the traffic caused by the hacker of the group was fantastic, Then the van carrying all the gold/money just vanished. That was good, that’s what I call a very good plan. The fight scenes with the car racing was also entertaining, maybe I was entertained because I’m a fan of racing. Watching the race scenes makes you want to be on that car and do what the characters are doing. Thumbs up for this movie, good quality!

Social Network

      Tells the story of the foundation of Facebook, its struggles and how it came to be. It’s more like the movie antitrust, stealing of ideas and making it more creative and innovative. The main idea of it was from the two brothers who sued facebook, maybe if Mark didn’t meet those two, facebook would not come into being. The need for finance is important in developing any system; it’s an important factor in continuing the system. I can’t comment any further in this film, Mark’s actions were the same with Bill Gates when he stole some of the ideas of Apple. As Picasso quoted “good artist copy, great artist steal”.

Antitrust

       This movie tells the violation made by NURV Company to all their competitors. The company steals codes and ideas from other programmers and they make it their own. They don’t give credit and they take what they want by force. It just showed one of the real environment of the computer world we are living, ideas are important for programmers. They can make them rich and they can also drive someone to make stupid things. This movie shows the difference between open source and close source softwares. The NURV uses close source, they do not let others see their source codes because they know that one day someone might notice that the code they are using are only stolen and not originally theirs. Companies like these should by ideas and softwares to gain it, they must not use force in taking it. Microsoft buys software to gain it and things should go that way. It also shows the importance of patent, this is important for any programmer. But I think patency on software not fully defined. Also protect your ideas and be careful to whom you might tell it.

Artificial Intelligence

        This movie illustrates the evolution of robotics and artificial intelligence in the movie. Mechas or robots in the movie AI are common, but the David which was a prototype for new kinds of robots is quite different. He has emotions and also feelings like a human; he acquired those through countless encounters on humans. It’s like he adapts to what he experiences and learn from it. This experiences helped him to learn new things, it’s like he is a human child through the help of artificial intelligence implanted on him. Just imagine a type of robot that can act like a human, feel like a human and dream like a human. A very genius piece of work, I hope that day will come that a robot like David will be built. The film followed the three laws of robotics; I did not see any violations made by the robots. Those 3 laws were followed, but in my own opinion, a robot like David “might” somehow violate one of those laws. Emotions which David acquired can cloud his judgments, it will conflict the programs that David is following. It may be the reason for confusion on his part; even he is a robot a program might end up messy because of learning new things like emotions.

Hackers

         This movie tells the story of Dade "Zero Cool" Murphy together with acid burn and their hacking buddies. It tells how a bunch of hackers infiltrated a system and expose a scheme which was planned by the system’s administrator. The movie doesn’t just tell about the story, it tries to tell us the negative and positive effects of hackers. Of course hacking is fun and it satisfies your curiosity. But hacking must be done with responsibility, as they tell “with great power comes with great responsibility”.  The movie tries to illustrate the things that hackers can do, they can be helpful and they can also be dangerous. It’s fun to watch this movie because it illustrates the hackers which are helping each other to achieve a common cause, and that reason is a good cause. On our times now we knew hackers as someone who prefers to work alone and don’t want to associate themselves with others because they fear to be compromised. This movie also identifies two types of hackers, first the stupid hackers, these are those hackers who wants recognition by destroying and exposing the flaws of a system. The second one are the professional hackers, these are hackers who use their ability to help others to improve the security of their systems. The lesson which can be learned from this movie is the ethics of hacking.
